Community Development

The Albany Community Development Department (CDD) manages development within the City Limits (land use planning, zoning) and issues building permits. Most structures regulated by the Spring Meadow CC&Rs require a building permit before construction. While primarily concerned with the aesthetic appearance of a structure, the HOA Board of Directors will require issuance of building permit approvals by the Community Development Department prior to approving any modification requests.
